An Event on Combating Corruption Held at the Ministry of Mining Industry and Geology

On 15 September of this year, the central office of the Ministry of Mining Industry and Geology hosted an event aimed at raising awareness on combating corruption and fostering an uncompromising attitude towards corruption among employees.
Head of the Internal Anti-Corruption Control Department, Sh. Sagdullayev, delivered a report on the concept of corruption, liability for corruption-related offences, and emphasised that violations of legislative norms by civil servants may constitute grounds for holding them accountable in accordance with the procedures established by law.
Furthermore, it was noted during the event that employees must prevent manifestations of social corruption and, if faced with cases of corruption, immediately inform the ministry’s management or the Internal Anti-Corruption Control Department.
