Ministry of Mining Industry and Geology of the Republic of Uzbekistan

The event was opened by the Director of the Institute of Mineral Resources, M. Isakov. Warm congratulations were then delivered by A. Rustamov, Head of Department at the Ministry of Mining Industry and Geology; A. Kadirkhodjaev, Rector of the University of Geological Sciences; N. Dulabova, Head of Division at the Ministry; and L. Sharafutdinova, Vice-Rector of the university.

During the event, former students of Professor Abduazimova, now engaged in various branches of geology, shared their thoughts on her significant influence on their scientific careers.

At the conference, organised by the State Unitary Enterprise “Institute of Mineral Resources”, students and researchers conducting scientific studies were presented with information about the professor’s 72-year-long scientific journey, her achievements, dedication, and personalised approach to mentoring. As highlighted during the event, these qualities played a vital role in the advancement of the sector and in the training of highly qualified specialists.
