Staff of the Ministry of Mining Industry and Geology familiarised themselves with the activities of Uzmetkombinat JSC

On 24 June 2025, a seminar was held at Uzmetkombinat JSC, located in the city of Bekabad, Tashkent Region, with the participation of a group of staff members from the Ministry.
During the event, participants gained detailed insights into the plant’s production processes, including the manufacture of rolled steel products and steel grinding balls, as well as the capacities of the Foundry and Rolling Complex currently under construction. They were also briefed on the ongoing digitalisation and transformation efforts, along with international cooperation projects being implemented.
In addition, the participants visited the Metallurgical Plant Museum, where an exhibition showcases over 80 years of historical materials related to the development of the industry.
