On 23 June 2025, the National Press Centre held a press conference on the theme: ‘Measures for further development of research and development works in the system of the University of Geological Sciences, rational use and protection of subsoil’.
The event was attended by Deputy Minister U. Yusupov, Rector of the University of Geological Sciences A. Kadirkhodjaev, as well as Director of the State Institution ‘Institute of Mineral Resources’ M. Isakov as speakers.
The speakers presented information on the activities of educational institutions of the Ministry of Mining Industry and Geology system, their main directions, successes achieved, positive results at the international level, as well as projects being implemented.
In addition, questions from the event participants and journalists were answered and suggestions on industry issues were listened to.
