SI “HYDROINGEO Institute”: Field surveys were carried out within the framework of the foreign project

Representatives of the Ministry of Mining Industry and Geology, SI “Institute of Hydrogeology and Engineering Geology”, Korea Mineral Resources Reclamation Corporation (KOMIR), Korea Institute of Geology and Mineral Resources (KIGAM) and SOAM Corporation participated in the surveys.
The survey covered the Angren coal mine and access sections of the 4R-6 Tashkent-Chimgan highway. In the course of field work, specialists analyzed geological conditions, assessed risks and studied factors affecting the stability of slopes.
The conducted studies are important for realization of the main objectives of the project aimed at development of modern monitoring and management system in the sphere of subsoil use and geological risks. The data obtained will be applied to improve methods of prevention and mitigation of hazardous geological processes.
