AMMC: construction of a new lime production plant started in Jizzakh

On 25 February 2025, construction of a new lime plant was started in Jizzak region within the framework of the investment project for the development of ‘Yoshlik-I’ deposit.
The event was attended by the management of AMMC, responsible persons of the Hakimiyat of Jizzak region, official representatives of the contractor and labour veterans.
This lime plant will provide necessary reagents for technological processes of the 1st, 2nd, 3rd and 4th copper smelting plants, zinc plant and mining departments of Angren, Chodak and Khandiza.
The capacity of the plant will be 2200 tonnes per day, 737 thousand tonnes of products per year, 323 new jobs will be created as a result of the launch of the enterprise.
