A delegation from the University of Geological Sciences visited the Freiberg Mining Academy

Members of the delegation met with the head of the Institute of Mineralogy, Professor Gerhard Heide, and discussed prospects for co-operation. During the visit they also familiarised themselves with the specimen museum belonging to the Institute.
The parties agreed to sign a joint memorandum to develop an academic mobility programme between the University of Geological Sciences and the Freiberg Mining Academy.
According to the agreement, two undergraduate students and two master's students from the UGS will have the opportunity to study at the Freiberg Mining Academy for one semester.
In addition, representatives of the University of Geological Sciences met with the head of the Academy's ‘International Centre’ Yulia Sischuk, where they received information about the centre's activity system, staffing and work with international students.
