On 30 September this year in the Agency of Information and Mass Communications held a press conference on the Priority directions of the University of Geological Sciences, the ongoing work to adapt the system of training, retraining and advanced training of specialists in the field of geology to modern requirements.
Head of the Department of the Ministry of Mining Industry and Geology O. Kodirov, Rector of the University of Geological Sciences M. Isokov and Vice-Rector of the University L. Sharafutdinova informed the participants about the attention paid to education in the field, the conditions created for students at the university, achievements, implemented projects with foreign universities as a result of international cooperation.
Answers were also given to the questions asked by the participants about the work being done to employ young people in Mining Industry and Geology, to strengthen the theoretical and practical knowledge of students, to facilitate their search for a place in the industry.
