Groundwater exploration projects in remote and desert areas identified

A meeting was held between the representatives of Aspek Company, the Ministry of Mining Industry and Geology, Navoi MMC JSC, Navoiuran SE and Uzsuvtaminot JSC in order to search for groundwater sources in remote and desert areas of our republic with the help of inexpensive innovative methods of exploration, to identify pilot projects for exploration works, as well as to establish further exchange of experience.
The issues of water supply to the facilities of Navoi MMC JSC and Navoiuran SE located in the Central Kyzylkum region and improvement of drinking water supply to the population were discussed.
As a result of the meeting it was agreed to study the selected projects on site with participation of relevant hydrogeological specialists together with foreign partners.
