UGS will co-operate with MTAIC International Mining Company

The University of Geological Sciences hosted a meeting with the delegation of the International Mining Company (MTAIC) of the General Directorate of Mineral Resources Prospecting and Exploration (MTA) of the Ministry of Energy and Natural Resources of the Republic of Turkey.
The members of the delegation familiarised themselves with the activities of the UGN campus, including the "Institute of Mineral Resources", "Institute of Geology and Oil and Gas Exploration", "Institute of Hydrogeology and Engineering Geology", as well as the activities of the Museum of Geology.
After that, UGN Rector Maksud Isakov and MTAIC General Director Nail Yildirim discussed issues of involving university specialists on the basis of scientific approach to geological exploration works aimed at finding mineral resources in promising fields of Uzbekistan, where Turkish investors are working.
