On 12 January 2026, the Deputy Minister of Mining Industry and Geology of the Republic of Uzbekistan, R. Yusupov, held a meeting with members of a delegation headed by the Director General of China Coal Resource Development, Yu. Qin Xian.
During the meeting, issues related to establishing cooperation in the field of mining industry and geology were discussed, including the coal industry, coal extraction using modern technologies with reduced environmental impact, and increasing production volumes.
At the meeting, the parties expressed their readiness to cooperate within the framework of prospective projects and emphasised the importance of strengthening mutually beneficial relations aimed at enhancing the effectiveness of cooperation.
