A seminar was held on the development of key performance indicators (KPIs) for heads of units of the Ministry of Mining Industry and Geology and employees of subordinate enterprises

The seminar was opened by First Deputy Minister of Mining Industry and Geology F. Khamidova, who emphasised the importance of assessing key performance indicators (KPIs), enhancing staff competencies, and ensuring the fulfilment of important tasks and instructions assigned to the sector.
Chief Specialist of the Department of Summary Information and Analytical Work and Study of International Experience of the Ministry of Mining Industry and Geology E. Asanov informed participants about the procedure for reviewing key performance indicators (KPIs) in order to ensure the implementation of tasks arising from the Address of the President of the Republic of Uzbekistan to the Oliy Majlis and the people of Uzbekistan dated 26 December 2025, as well as about the development, approval and evaluation procedure for performance indicators of heads, assessed on the basis of key performance indicators (KPIs).
Also at the event, Head of the Department of Incentives and Remuneration of AMMC JSC A. Kambarov shared the practical experience of the combine, delivering a presentation and acquainting seminar participants with the stages of implementing the key performance indicator (KPI) system, as well as approaches to its practical application in day-to-day work.
At the conclusion of the seminar, the speakers answered questions from participants. During the discussion, issues related to the development and application of key performance indicators (KPIs) for heads and employees of departments, divisions and units of the Ministry’s central apparatus were considered.
