Ministry of Mining Industry and Geology of the Republic of Uzbekistan

The speakers included N. Pulatov, Head of a Department at the Ministry of Mining Industry and Geology; Sh. Toshev, Deputy Director of the State Institution Institute of Hydrogeology and Engineering Geology; and F. Khaydarov, Chief Hydrogeologist of the State Institution Uzbekhydrogeology. During the event, information was provided to media representatives and participants.

The press conference addressed issues related to the search for and exploration of groundwater, approval of reserves and assessment of resources, evaluation of the geoecological and reclamation–hydrogeological condition of territories and protection of groundwater, engineering and geodynamic processes, hydrogeological and engineering-geological studies in mining operations, justification of an optimal groundwater monitoring system based on modern technologies, as well as groundwater monitoring.
