Participants from four Central Asian countries—Uzbekistan, Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, and Tajikistan—took part in the event.

The project brought together GITIS (Russian University of Theatre Arts) teachers and Russian drama theater directors from the four Central Asian republics: Uzbekistan, Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, and Tajikistan. Therefore, the project was named "Four Hearts"—a symbolic name emphasizing the unity of the theater community.

Over four days, the participants of the project underwent training with GITIS teachers and exchanged ideas with their colleagues. The project included a training and cultural program for the participants at the Russian Drama Theater of Samarkand and the Samarkand Puppet Theater.

According to Farhod Jo'raev, the director of the Uzbekistan Youth Theater and a person with over forty years of experience, this international conference in the field of theater management provided new knowledge.

At the conclusion of the conference, a ceremony was held where participants received certificates of qualification enhancement from the Russian Cooperation Agency’s representative office in Uzbekistan.

"Four Hearts" is not only a platform for exchanging experiences but also an important step in developing theater cooperation between the Central Asian countries!

From October 15 to 19, the city of Samarkand hosted this international conference, and the team, led by Orif Hayitov, the head of the Regional Department of Culture, played an active role in welcoming the guests and providing the necessary conditions.
