An exhibition of Tajik painters has opened in the capital

As previously reported, the “Days of Tajik Culture and Cinema” are currently taking place in Uzbekistan.
Today, March 24, at the Uzbekistan Art Gallery in the capital, within the framework of the “Days of Tajik Culture and Cinema,” the official opening ceremony of an exhibition of works by Tajik painters was held.
The event was attended by the Minister of Culture of the Republic of Uzbekistan Ozodbek Nazarbekov, the Minister of Culture of the Republic of Tajikistan Matlubakhon Sattoriyon, the Director of the Uzbekistan Art Gallery Kamola Akilova, and the Chairperson of the Union of Artists of Tajikistan Nargis Hamidova.
At the beginning of the event, the Minister of Culture of Uzbekistan Ozodbek Nazarbekov delivered a speech about the opening of the exhibition of Tajik painters in the capital.
“The peoples of Uzbekistan and Tajikistan are bound by a shared history formed over centuries, close cultural values, harmonious traditions, and deep spiritual ties. Today’s event is a vivid expression of this commonality and an important cultural platform that further strengthens friendship and trust between our peoples. Through the works presented at this exhibition, we can see the national spirit, lifestyle, natural landscapes, and human values of Tajik artists expressed at a high artistic level.
Dear participants! Today we are stepping into a new stage. Our strategic goal is to form the Central Asian school of fine arts as a strong creative phenomenon that will take a достойное место in the global cultural space,” said Minister Ozodbek Nazarbekov.
In addition, the Minister of Culture of Tajikistan Matlubakhon Sattoriyon also spoke, expressing warm thoughts about the shared culture and art of the two brotherly peoples and emphasizing the importance of fine arts in strengthening cultural ties between Uzbekistan and Tajikistan.
Afterwards, the two ministers of culture officially opened the exhibition of works by Tajik painters.
The exhibition features more than 30 works by Tajik artists. Through these works, the national spirit, lifestyle, landscapes, and human values of Tajik painters are vividly and artistically expressed.
Among them:
Rabizoda Olim’s “Tree of Life” series reflects the continuity of life and spiritual roots;
Abduazizov Davlat’s “Market” vividly depicts Eastern lifestyle and the spirit of the people;
Boymurodov Behzod’s “Haftkul” and “Karotog Landscape” showcase the incomparable beauty of nature;
Ne’matzoda Farrukh’s “Nature of Navoi” and “Spring” express the harmony between humans and nature.
These works not only provide aesthetic pleasure but also invite the viewer to think, feel, and reflect spiritually, as true art is the most powerful language between hearts.
The exhibition of works by Tajik painters at the Uzbekistan Art Gallery, held within the framework of the “Days of Tajik Culture and Cinema,” will continue on March 25.
The “Days of Tajik Culture and Cinema,” which started on March 23 in Tashkent, are ongoing. The cultural days will conclude on March 28 in Samarkand.
