On May 25th, the premiere of the historical and artistic film "Amir Bahodir Yalangtosh" created by the "Ezgu Film" studio, commissioned by the Cinematography Agency under the Ministry of Culture, in collaboration with the Samarkand Regional Administration, was held at the "Mojiza" amphitheater in Samarkand.

In the official opening part of the event, the Director of the Agency Firdavs Abduxoliqov, the Regional Governor Erkin Turdimov, the Deputy Director of the Agency Shuhrat Rizayev, and Doctor of Historical Sciences Erkin Musurmonov spoke. Also, the members of the film's creative team were introduced: Producer Zafar Yuldoshev, Director Jahongir Ahmedov, Screenwriters Hasan Toshkhodjaev (and Jahongir Ahmedov), and Actors Habibulla Nizomov, Boir Kholmirzayev, Matyoqub Matchonov. Afterward, the film "Amir Bahodir Yalangtosh" was shown to the wide public of Samarkand city.

The film tells the life and activities of the great commander Bahodir Yalangtosh, the founder of the Registan complex, and the ruler of Samarkand. Amir Yalangtosh was primarily a skilled military commander. He participated in all military campaigns during the two dynastic periods of the Bukhara Khanate and achieved significant victories. However, not much is known about his military campaigns during the period of Abdullakhon. Nevertheless, Nizomiddin Yalangtosh's contribution to the stability of the Ashtarkhonyid state, the inviolability of borders, and resistance to foreign invasions is significant.
