As previously reported , the Ministry’s Press Service has been holding meetings with students from universities under the Ministry, forming a voluntary youth group of students interested in media.
Today, December 2, a meeting and open dialogue were held with students of the National Institute of Pop Art named after Botir Zokirov, affiliated with the Uzbekistan State Conservatory. About 20 students participated voluntarily.
The main goal of these meetings is to form a voluntary youth media group, increase media literacy among young people, provide practical support to students interested in mass media, and bring them closer to the field.
During the discussion, the head of the Press Service, Sirojiddin O‘sarov, provided detailed information on modern media trends, the culture of working with information, fact-checking, creating high-quality content for social media, journalistic ethics, and the importance of official information policy.
It was also announced that among students who show special interest in media, have creative abilities, and are proactive, a voluntary youth media group is being formed. This group is planned to actively participate in the Ministry’s various media projects, including video reports, photo materials, textual content creation, and producing content for social media. This initiative not only provides practical experience for young people but also gives them the opportunity to work directly with industry professionals and develop their professional skills.
As is well known, the National Institute of Pop Art named after Botir Zokirov offers several programs, including composition and musical voice directing. During the meeting, students demonstrated their creative works in practice.
This initiative serves as an important step in engaging young people in creative processes, supporting their personal development, and preparing qualified media professionals for the future.
