Tourism Committee of the Republic of Uzbekistan

As part of the international event, pavilions representing the city of Termez and various districts of the region hosted presentations of national dishes, exhibitions of handicrafts and souvenirs, as well as traditional celebrations such as “Uzum sayli” (Grape Festival), “Olma sayli” (Apple Festival), and “Anor sayli” (Pomegranate Festival). Guests from different countries, along with foreign and local tourists, had the opportunity to taste unique national dishes and enjoy the distinctive flavors of Surxondaryo’s diverse fruits.

At the gala concert organized for the festival guests, honored pop artists of Uzbekistan, performers from Tajikistan, and talented singers and creative groups from the Surxondaryo region gave vibrant performances, creating a festive atmosphere for the audience.

According to the results of the festival:

• Altynsay district won in the "Best National Dish" nomination;

• Boysun district won in the "Best Chef" nomination;

• Sherobod district was recognized as the winner in the "Most Active Region" nomination.

The festival not only became an important step in promoting the unique cuisine and hospitality traditions of Surxondaryo but also played a significant role in enhancing the international visibility of the region’s tourism potential.
