Preparation for the 43rd UNESCO Session in Samarkand: guide-interpreters and tour leaders awarded certificates

In accordance with the decree of the President of the Republic of Uzbekistan dated March 15, 2024, “On measures for the preparation for the 43rd session of the UNESCO General Conference to be held in the city of Samarkand in 2025” and the approved schedule by the Tourism Committee, from October 13 to 17, special professional development courses were organized at the International University of Tourism and Cultural Heritage “Silk Road” for interpreter-guides and tour leaders.
During these courses, participants not only strengthened their modern knowledge and skills in the field of tourism but also had the opportunity to become more closely acquainted with the rich historical and cultural heritage of Samarkand.
The awarding of certificates to specialists who successfully completed the courses allowed them not only to enhance their professional potential but also to demonstrate their readiness to provide high-quality services to international guests and delegations at the UNESCO General Conference in Samarkand in 2025.
