According to statistical data, 18,752 Pakistani tourists visited Uzbekistan in 2025. From January to July 2026, the figure reached 13,095, equivalent to 70% of the total number recorded for the whole of last year.
The expansion of air connectivity between the two countries was also highlighted. Currently, six direct flights per week are operated, including four on the Tashkent–Lahore route and two on the Tashkent–Islamabad route. In September, Centrum Air plans to launch a new Tashkent–Karachi service, bringing the total number of direct flights between Uzbekistan and Pakistan to eight per week.
During the meeting, the sides proposed jointly developing pilgrimage, gastronomic, medical, MICE and educational tourism. The Uzbek side also invited Pakistani tourism companies to participate in the Tashkent International Tourism Fair – “Tourism on the Silk Road” (TITF-2026), which will be held in Tashkent on 25–27 November 2026.
