The financial support has been provided in accordance with Presidential Resolution No. PP-394 of 15 December 2023, " On measures for the further development of the tourism potential of the Khorezm Region for 2024 — 2026."
The subsidies have been allocated as follows:
Tukezm – UZS 580 million
Farohat Ona – UZS 200 million
Saroy Khiva – UZS 150 million
Nova Hotel – UZS 60 million
Sherline – UZS 54 million
These state support measures contribute to the development of modern accommodation infrastructure, improve the quality of tourism services, and expand the region's capacity to welcome visitors.
As of 1 August 2026, 34 new accommodation facilities had commenced operations in the Khorezm Region, including 17 hotels, three hostels, 12 family guesthouses, and two dormitories. This expansion significantly enhances the region's capacity to accommodate tourists while creating additional opportunities to provide modern, high-quality hospitality services.
The reporting period also recorded continued growth in entrepreneurial activity within the tourism sector. Eighteen new tour operators and travel agencies began operating in the region, contributing to job creation, broadening the range of tourism services, and further improving the quality of services provided to both domestic and international visitors.
The Government's consistent support for the tourism sector, together with ongoing measures to develop accommodation infrastructure and enhance tourism services, continues to strengthen the Khorezm Region's position as an increasingly attractive tourism destination.
