This year alone, five new Tourism Streets have been opened across the city. Their round-the-clock operation allows visitors to enjoy dining, leisure, shopping, and entertainment even during the evening and nighttime hours, making them an important driver of the city's growing night-time economy.

To attract more visitors, the necessary tourism infrastructure has been developed across these areas. The streets feature restaurants serving both Uzbek and international cuisine, cafés, fast-food outlets, handicraft and souvenir shops, while cultural performances and entertainment events are held on a regular basis.

These improvements are already having a positive impact on visitor numbers. During the January–July period of this year, the Tourism Streets welcomed thousands of domestic and international visitors. Approximately 85% of all visitors were domestic tourists, while the remaining 15% were international travellers. The largest number of foreign visitors came from Kyrgyzstan, Tajikistan, Kazakhstan, Russia, and Türkiye.

The development of the night-time economy is also delivering tangible economic benefits for the city. Today, more than 80 businesses operate along the Tourism Streets, creating hundreds of new jobs. The 24/7 operating model significantly extends service hours for both residents and visitors, stimulates employment, and creates additional opportunities for business growth and income generation.
