On the first day of the tour, participants visited Tashkent’s major attractions, including the Center of Islamic Civilization. The program then continued in the Tashkent Region, where guests were introduced to Uzbekistan’s mountain tourism opportunities through a visit to the Amirsoy Mountain Resort.

In the following days, participants will travel to the Zaamin tourism zone in the Jizzakh Region and to Samarkand, where they will explore the country’s rich historical and cultural heritage, modern tourism facilities, hotel infrastructure, and regional transport network.

The familiarization tour is expected to generate extensive coverage of Uzbekistan’s tourism opportunities across social media platforms and professional travel networks in Oman, helping to strengthen the country’s position as an attractive destination for Omani travelers.
