Interest in Uzbekistan’s tourism continues to grow through the “Fliggy” online platform

As part of the international tourism exhibition “ITB China,” Chairman of the Tourism Committee A. Akkulov held negotiations at Uzbekistan’s National Stand with Li Yang, Vice President of the major online travel platform “Fliggy,” which is part of the Alibaba Group.

During the meeting, it was noted that interest in Uzbekistan on the platform increased by 40% throughout 2025, while more than 20,000 Chinese tourists purchased tours to Uzbekistan through the service.
During the negotiations, the parties discussed ways to further increase the flow of Chinese tourists to Uzbekistan, as well as actively promote the country’s tourism potential through the platform.
In addition, the sides agreed to make more effective use of the platform’s extensive capabilities, involve a larger number of tourism business representatives from Uzbekistan, develop joint marketing programs, and organize training seminars for entrepreneurs.
