Hotel Business Forum 2026: Developing tourism through professional education and international experience

The event brought together representatives of international hotel brands, investors, industry experts, restaurateurs, and educational institutions who shared their experience in implementing innovative solutions and approaches to tourism development.
Particular attention was paid to professional education and the training of a new generation of specialists capable of shaping the future of tourism in Uzbekistan. Experts discussed the role of artificial intelligence, digital technologies, and the development of soft skills in education, emphasizing that the combination of innovation and a human-centered approach defines the quality of modern service.
International participants highlighted Uzbekistan’s strong potential in the hospitality sector and the country’s readiness to integrate international educational standards and best practices for the continued growth of the tourism industry.
As part of the forum, memorandums of cooperation were signed between the Hoteliers Association of Uzbekistan and several partners: Chusty Group, Kimyo International University in Tashkent, the Agency for Professional Education, the Bostanlyk Tourism and Cultural Heritage Technical School and the Zaamin Tourism and Cultural Heritage Technical School, as well as the Uzbek–Malaysian–Indonesian Tourism Association (UMITA).
These agreements are aimed at developing professional education, improving workforce qualifications, and strengthening international cooperation in the tourism sector.
