The Tourism Committee of the Republic of Uzbekistan

At the same time, swimming pools must be established by business entities on the premises of accommodation facilities, large shopping complexes, or public catering facilities.

The following requirements shall apply to swimming pools:

- an area from 50 to 100 square meters, a depth of at least 1.3 meters, and the availability of water filtration, heating, and disinfection systems; the swimming pool must be artificial, indoor (internal) or outdoor (external);

- reimbursement of expenses for decorative water bodies and fountains intended for the decoration of external and internal building facades, as well as adjacent territories, shall not be permitted.

To obtain compensation, applicants shall submit an application to the Tourism Committee with the following documents attached:

- a copy of the design documentation of the swimming pool;

- a copy of the construction and commissioning contract for the swimming pool;

- copies of electronic documents confirming payment under the contract (invoices, cash register or terminal receipts, bank payment documents, etc.).

Applications shall be reviewed within 10 working days.

At the time of submission of the application, the applicant must meet the following requirements:

- absence of arrears in taxes and fees provided for by the Tax Code of the Republic of Uzbekistan;

- absence of reorganization or liquidation procedures;

- activities must not be temporarily suspended in accordance with the procedure established by law;

- the applicant must not be declared insolvent (bankrupt) on the basis of a court decision.
