Eid al-Fitr is one of the holy holidays of Muslim peoples, celebrated on the first day of the month of Shawwal, after the obligatory fasting prayer in the month of Ramadan.
Like all Muslim nations, the Uzbek people also widely celebrate this holiday. On the day of Eid al-Adha, they put on new clothes, give “Hayitlik”, visit each other, accept the prayers of adults, visit for the needy and sick, share joy with children associated with Ramadan of our people - these are unique traditions.
