Yesterday, a solemn event dedicated to the 70th anniversary of the People’s Artist of Uzbekistan and Tajikistan, the esteemed performer Matluba Dadaboyeva (Mavluda Khalilova), was held at the Yunus Rajabiy Uzbek State Institute of Music and Art.

At the event, the First Deputy Minister of Culture, Avazkhon Tadjikhanov, attended and read out the congratulatory message from the Minister of Culture of the Republic of Uzbekistan, Ozodbek Nazarbekov.

In particular, your work at the Yunus Rajabiy Uzbek National Institute of Music, where you have been teaching young people the art and secrets of Uzbek national singing, as well as your initiative in education and upbringing, deserve the highest praise.

The students of the educational institution where you teach, specializing in “Traditional Singing,” have repeatedly won the “Nihol” award for young talents established by the President of the Republic of Uzbekistan, as well as the “E’tirof” and “Ehtirom” awards founded by the Ministry of Culture. They have also become laureates and prizewinners of hundreds of international competitions and festivals.

At present, your dedicated and demanding work as a passionate teacher, professor, and mentor who makes a worthy contribution to the development and prosperity of Uzbek national singing art is yielding tangible results in the training of highly qualified specialists.
