At the beginning of the meeting, the essence of the Decree No. 184 of the President of the Republic of Uzbekistan dated November 14, 2024, “On Measures to Reliably Protect the Rights and Legitimate Interests of Entrepreneurs” was explained. Concert organizers and artists were provided with clarifications on the procedures of the regulations approved by the decree, aimed at increasing awareness of the mandatory requirements in the field of concert and performance activities.
It was emphasized that, according to the Regulations on the Procedure for Introducing a Risk Analysis System for Violations in the Concert and Performance Industry, the Uzbekconcert State Institution will conduct inspections if any illegal activities or violations of mandatory requirements are detected through the risk analysis information system. This system monitors risks based on appeals from individuals and legal entities, data from state agencies and organizations, media sources, and other information sources.
During the meeting, the importance of adhering to the requirements of the Law of the Republic of Uzbekistan “On Licensing, Permitting, and Notification Procedures” was also discussed. Additionally, the meeting emphasized that artists must strictly comply with the laws of the Republic of Uzbekistan and other legal regulations. It was also highlighted that when traveling abroad, they should uphold the honor of their homeland, maintain ethics, culture, and traditional Uzbek values.
First Deputy Minister Bahodir Ahmedov stressed the importance of respecting national customs, values, and traditions. He warned against extravagance, ostentatious luxury, and other negative tendencies, as well as engaging in inappropriate behavior in public places that could attract undue attention.
Furthermore, he addressed the importance of paying attention to the content of songs, preventing copyright violations, and promoting themes of love for the homeland, devotion, and patriotism. Artists were encouraged to serve as role models for the younger generation.
