In Nukus city, Republic of Karakalpakstan, a ceremonial award presentation took place for a group of representatives from various sectors, where the "Culture and Art Martyr" badge and the "Alg'is–2024" award were given.
At the beginning of the event, the Minister of Culture of the Republic of Uzbekistan, Ozodbek Nazarbekov, addressed the audience and emphasized the following:
"I am truly pleased to meet you here in Karakalpakstan, the northern gateway of our country.
As you all know very well, our esteemed President has been giving special attention to the Republic of Karakalpakstan and has been advancing significant initiatives to develop the region socio-economically.
In recent years, many projects have been implemented aimed at further improving the coastal areas, creating decent living conditions for the brave, honest, friendly, and hardworking population, and providing them with jobs and sources of income.
As our Leader of State has repeatedly stated, 'The fate of Karakalpakstan is the fate of Uzbekistan, the happiness and well-being of the Karakalpak people are the happiness and well-being of the entire Uzbek people.'
These heartfelt words express the wishes and goals we all share and are a vital expression of our intentions. Contributing to the comprehensive development of Karakalpakstan is both our duty and great honor.
In this regard, within the framework of our visit, it is important to honor those who have worked diligently to accelerate reforms in the field of culture and art, improve leisure for the population, organize meaningful free time for young people, and increase the quality of cultural services. Therefore, we will honor a group of representatives from Karakalpakstan's culture and art sector."
Then, the Minister of Culture of the Republic of Uzbekistan, Ozodbek Nazarbekov, the Chairman of the Committee of the Supreme Council of the Republic of Karakalpakstan, Murat Atamuratov, and the Minister of Culture of Karakalpakstan, Begis Temirbayev, presented the "Culture and Art Martyr" badge and the "Alg'is–2024" award to the recipients.
