Minister Ozodbek Nazarbekov met with Amanbay Orinbayev, Chairman of the Jokargi Kenes of the Republic of Karakalpakstan

On January 22, a meeting was held in Karakalpakstan between the Minister of Culture of the Republic of Uzbekistan, Ozodbek Nazarbekov, and the Chairman of the Jokargy Kenes of the Republic of Karakalpakstan, Amanbay Orinbayev.
During the meeting, it was emphasized that President Shavkat Mirziyoyev has been paying great attention to the reform and further development of culture and the arts, and that several important decisions were signed at the end of 2024 in this regard.
Additionally, in accordance with the directives given by the President during his visit to Karakalpakstan on August 20-21, 2024, the meeting discussed organizing the “Oq qush” complex event and the "Nomadic Peoples" International Festival in Taxtako‘pir district in April-May 2025, as well as celebrating the 70th anniversary of the "Aykulash" Karakalpak State National Folklore Ensemble in 2026.
During the meeting, Minister of Culture Ozodbek Nazarbekov presented the "Culture and Art Devotee" badge to Chairman Amanbay Orinbayev.
"Considering the special attention our President is giving to the culture and arts sector, I want to reaffirm my readiness to provide all kinds of practical support for the development of this field in Karakalpakstan under your leadership and to promote new initiatives," said Ozodbek Nazarbekov at the end of the meeting.

On January 22-23, the Minister of Culture of the Republic of Uzbekistan, Ozodbek Nazarbekov, will be on an official visit to Karakalpakstan.
During the visit, he will:
- Hold the expanded Board Meeting of the Ministry of Culture dedicated to the results of 2024;
- Take part in the award ceremony, where a group of cultural and artistic figures of Karakalpakstan will receive the “Culture and Art Devotee” badge;
- Meet with about 200 young people from Karakalpakstan as part of the "Minister and Youth" project;
- Participate in a press tour organized for the media to widely promote the achievements in the field of culture and art in Karakalpakstan.
