Currently, representatives of the Yunus Rajabiy Institute of Uzbek National Music Art are in Ankara, Turkey.
As part of their official visit, the institute’s representatives met with Sayid Yusuf, the Deputy Secretary General of TURKSOY, the Organization of Turkic Culture.
During the warm and friendly meeting, the issues of cooperation between the international organization and the Uzbek Institute of Music Art were discussed. It was agreed that the literature published in the fields of maqom, large songs, and bakhshi storytelling would be gradually translated into Turkish.
Additionally, collaboration on establishing a CI (Cultural Interaction) scientific laboratory at the institute was discussed, as well as the possibility of arranging internships for 10 professors and teachers. The idea of establishing a special center to create rankings for higher education institutions in the field of culture and art among Turkic states was also proposed.
The importance of expanding the schedules of international forums and cultural events and further developing artistic cooperation was emphasized during the conversation.
The delegation’s visit is ongoing.
