Cultural centers in Fergana and Samarkand regions have been put into operation.

On the eve of the New Year celebrations, the 5th special cultural center under the Fergana city Department of Culture and the 37th "Gulshan" cultural center under the Narpay district Department of Culture were fully repaired and handed over for use.

The opening ceremonies of the buildings were attended by district governors, officials from local governments and organizations, as well as representatives of the wider public.

Speakers highlighted that these cultural centers would serve to promote culture and art among the local population, especially the youth, and help nurture talented boys and girls. Afterward, the guests who visited these centers familiarized themselves with the conditions created within.

For reference: At the expanded meeting of the Republic Spirituality and Enlightenment Council chaired by the President on December 22, 2023, instructions were given to establish cultural centers in each district, equipped with a cinema hall, library, and club rooms, to conduct cultural events in the regions, and to involve young people in the arts.
