A unique musical event took place at Tashkent International Airport. The program was organized by the Center for Uzbek National Maqam Art and Uzbekistan Airports AJ, as part of the implementation of Presidential Decree No. PQ-289 dated August 30, 2023, "On measures for the further development of Uzbek national maqam and support for the activities of representatives of this field."

The aim of the event was to present Uzbekistan's rich culture and the unique sounds of our national music to foreign guests, passengers, and tourists, thereby immersing them in Uzbekistan's hospitality and cultural heritage.

The performance was led by the Uzbek National Artist Abduhoshim Ismailov, featuring the Maqam Ensemble. The ensemble included the National Artist of Uzbekistan Abdulahad Abdurashidov, Honored Artists of Uzbekistan Abdurahmon Kholtozhiev and Gulbahor Ergulova, as well as renowned artists Kuvonchbek Dostmurodov, Ozodbek Tillonazarov, and Sunnatillo Yunusov. Their performance confirmed the richness and beauty of Uzbek national music.

These musical performances elevated the spirits of passengers and tourists, evoking warm feelings toward Uzbekistan's hospitality, the profound philosophy, and elegance of our national music. Particularly, foreign guests were amazed by the unique maqam sounds and carried with them the hospitality of Uzbekistan and its musical heritage.

During the event, the departure hall of Tashkent International Airport was filled with national spirit and spirituality. This initiative became an important step in promoting our art on the international stage and strengthening national values.
