As previously reported, the 200th anniversary of the birth of the prominent Karakalpak poet and thinker Ajiniyoz Qosiboy ogli is being widely celebrated in Istanbul, Turkey, from December 2 to 5 this year, in collaboration with the international cultural organization TURKSOY.
As part of these events, on December 3, a meeting was held between the representatives of the Ministry of Culture of the Republic of Uzbekistan, Bahrom Usmonov and Hamroz Dehqonov, TURKSOY official Dilbahor Khudoyberdiyeva, Deputy Chairman of the Council of Ministers of the Republic of Karakalpakstan Rasul Zarikeev, Minister of Culture of the Republic of Karakalpakstan Begis Temirbayev, and Head of Istanbul’s Department of Culture and Tourism, Joşkün Yılmaz.
During the meeting, the delegation members discussed strengthening ties in the fields of culture and tourism between the two countries, establishing mutual cooperation, and attracting Turkish investors.
