Uzbekistan – Russia: Strengthening Cultural Cooperation
In recent years, relations between Uzbekistan and Russia have shown positive results in various areas of collaboration. One of the key aspects of this partnership has been the development of cultural ties.
To further strengthen cultural cooperation, “Uzbekistan Culture Days” are being held in the Russian Federation. These include a variety of events, with a concert program titled “Evening of Stars of Uzbekistan” scheduled for November 19 at the State Kremlin Palace in Moscow, featuring Uzbek artists.
Today, as part of the "Uzbekistan Culture Days," the fourth meeting of the Culture Committee of the Intergovernmental Commission on Economic Cooperation between Russia and Uzbekistan took place. The meeting was attended by the Minister of Culture of Uzbekistan, Ozodbek Nazarbekov, and the Minister of Culture of the Russian Federation, Olga Lyubimova, along with delegations from both countries.

- "In recent years, relations between Russia and Uzbekistan have reached a qualitatively new level. Today, there is no area where our countries do not interact. I am pleased to welcome the Uzbek delegation to Moscow and hope that the visit will be productive and leave the best impressions. Regular meetings of the Culture Subcommittee allow us to summarize the results of our cooperation and discuss plans for the future. In May 2023, the third meeting of the Subcommittee was held in Tashkent, and since then, we have implemented numerous joint cultural projects. This year has been especially significant in supporting cultural dialogue between our countries."
Ozodbek Nazarbekov, Minister of Culture of Uzbekistan, stated:
- "The Culture Subcommittee of the Intergovernmental Commission plays an important role in the development of cultural ties between our countries. It is especially pleasing to note that cultural and humanitarian cooperation strengthens bilateral relations.
