At the "Turkiston" Art Palace in Tashkent, a grand ceremony was held to celebrate the 70th anniversary of the People's Artist of Uzbekistan, Mansur Toshmatov, organized by the Ministry of Culture in cooperation with the State Philharmonic of Uzbekistan.
Before the ceremony, the Minister of Culture, Ozodbek Nazarbekov, spoke, acknowledging Mansur Toshmatov's nearly 50 years of productive and passionate creative work in the field of culture, emphasizing that he had become one of the true phenomena of our art. He also sincerely congratulated the master on behalf of the Ministry's team, wishing him continued success in the development of Uzbek culture and art, the continuation of the master-apprentice traditions, and in discovering talented youth.
During the ceremony, the First Deputy General Director of the State Philharmonic of Uzbekistan, K. Yuldashev, also spoke, extending his heartfelt congratulations to the master on behalf of the Philharmonic's leadership and the entire creative team. He expressed gratitude for his many years of active labor in the system and presented commemorative gifts.
In addition, Mansur Toshmatov was honored by teams from the Ministry of Defense, the Ministry of Internal Affairs, and the Botir Zokirov National Estrada Institute.
The anniversary concert program featured People's Artists of Uzbekistan Farrukh Zokirov, Nasiba Abdullayeva, Ramiz Usmonov, singers Ziyod Eshonxo‘jayev, the "Dutorchilar", "Navbahor", and "Tomosha" children's ensembles, the "O'zbekiston Solistlari" and State Jazz Orchestras, and the "Sharq" pop group. They all celebrated the creative work of the master and shared their musical performances with the audience, spreading good cheer.
It is well-known that Mansur Toshmatov, with his wide vocal range and unique compositions, has earned many admirers not only in our country but also among art enthusiasts abroad, gaining deep respect.
As a result, foreign guest artists such as the Honored Artist of Uzbekistan Natalia Nurmuhamedova (Russian Federation), international competition winner Gocha Siradze (Georgia), and the Honored Figure of Arts of Kazakhstan Janargul Arinbasarova (Kazakhstan) also participated in the concert, expressing their congratulations with their songs and performances.
Each performance in this heartfelt and enjoyable concert directly reflected Mansur Toshmatov’s creative career. Even the circus artists' stage performances impressed the audience as examples of pop-circus art.
The ceremony, which ended in such a high atmosphere, concluded with Mansur Toshmatov performing the song "My Way," emphasizing that this path in the arts will continue. Indeed, many cultural projects of international significance will still be carried out with his involvement. Additionally, his students will become worthy successors of Mansur Toshmatov's creative school, representing Uzbek art on the global stage and earning high accolades.
