The Ministry of Culture of the Republic of Karakalpakstan announces a republican competition of folk song performers titled "Sing from Ajiniyoz's Songs" in honor of the 200th anniversary of the birth of the prominent Karakalpak poet Ajiniyoz Kosiboy ogli.
Participants are required to perform folk songs penned by the poet.
Performers aged 18 to 35 are eligible to participate.
Applications for participation will be accepted until November 10.
The competition will take place on November 12 this year at the Karakalpak State Youth Theater in the city of Nukus.
