Ministry of Culture Task Force Assesses Anti-Corruption Efforts in Navoiy Region
Currently, a task force from the Ministry of Culture is reviewing the anti-corruption measures implemented by the Navoiy Regional Department of Culture as part of the 2023–2024 State Program on Combating Corruption.
A meeting was held at the Navoiy Regional Department of Culture, attended by employees of the regional department and affiliated institutions.
During the meeting, Komiljon Rahimov, the official responsible for anti-corruption at the Ministry of Culture, provided insights into the "Law on Conflict of Interest" and the ministry's anti-corruption policies.
Additionally, discussions covered compliance with the Labor Code, adherence to regulatory legal documents, enforcement of industry-related laws, and procurement practices following the "Law on Public Procurement of the Republic of Uzbekistan" to prevent conflicts of interest.
At the conclusion of the meeting, industry professionals had the opportunity to ask questions, which were addressed by the relevant officials.
