A delegation of Uzbek filmmakers will participate in a film festival in China

From September 21–25, the Silk Road International Film Festival will be held in Xi'an, China. This festival is an important cultural manifestation of the "Belt and Road" initiative.
The festival was established with government approval in September 2014, and is held annually in either Xi'an or Fuzhou. The program includes opening and closing ceremonies, awards presentations, film screenings, film forums, and masterclasses.
The Silk Road International Film Festival has been successfully held in Xi'an five times, attracting numerous notable personalities from over 50 countries and over 6000 cinema industry professionals. Famous guests include Asqar Farhodi, Jackie Chan, Sophie Marceau, Rennie Harlin, Monica Bellucci, Jiang Wen, Diao Yinan, Gordon Chan Ka-Xiung, Ning Xiao, Xu Zheng, Wu Jing, Sun Jia, Xiao Lei, Lu Chuan, Liu Ye.
The festival aims to create a cultural bridge connecting the countries and regions of the Silk Road, promote cultural exchange and collaboration, strengthen ties, and contribute to the cooperation within the framework of the "Belt and Road" initiative. Uzbekistan has also been invited as a guest this year and will participate with the following films during the Uzbek Film Days:

- "Flight 101"
- "Bahodir Yalangtosh"
- "House"
- "Children in the Sky-3"
- "Sunday"
- "Punkare"
- "Who Says You?"
Within the framework of the event, there will also be meetings to discuss collaboration on the joint projects "Farhod and Shirin" and "Wait for Me". Additionally, memorandums of cooperation are expected to be signed.
