Yesterday, a meeting was held under the chairmanship of Culture Minister Ozodbek Nazarbekov regarding the implementation of the Presidential decree aimed at improving the management system in the field of culture and art and expanding private sector participation.
The meeting was attended by officials from the ministry's central apparatus, heads of regional departments, and industry specialists. During the meeting, issues related to implementing the priority tasks outlined in the decree, simplifying the management system, and increasing its effectiveness were discussed.
In his remarks, Minister Ozodbek Nazarbekov emphasized the need to introduce modern management mechanisms in cultural and artistic institutions, reduce bureaucratic barriers, and strengthen the independence of regional systems.
Special attention was also given to expanding private sector participation, implementing new projects on the basis of public-private partnerships, and supporting non-governmental cultural institutions. In this regard, specific instructions were issued on creating favorable conditions for investors and improving incentive mechanisms.
