As you know, every Thursday has been designated as “Youth Day,” during which meetings with young people are organized. This initiative was introduced following a meeting with youth held on February 24, 2026, at the Kuksaroy residence under the leadership of the President of the Republic of Uzbekistan, where it was instructed that every Thursday be marked as “Youth Day” in all ministries, agencies, and local administrations, with meetings held with young people.
In order to implement these instructions, yesterday, on April 2, First Deputy Minister of Culture Bahodir Ahmedov met with more than 50 young participants.
Today, young people are considered one of the most active and promising segments of society. Their education, self-development, and ability to choose the right path play an important role in the country’s development. Therefore, events such as meetings with youth deserve special attention.
During the meeting, young participants received answers to their questions and had the opportunity to openly discuss their concerns. This helped increase their confidence.
Such events also contribute to creating a cooperative and friendly environment among young people.
After the meeting, First Deputy Minister Bahodir Ahmedov, together with the youth, planted trees on the university grounds as part of the nationwide “Green Space” initiative and to promote environmental awareness among young people.
