May 25, the first grand premiere of the historical-artistic film "Bahodir Yalangtosh" shot by the initiative of the President of the Republic of Uzbekistan Shavkat Mirziyoyev was held at the "Mo'jiza" amphitheater in Samarkand. Regional governor Erkinjon Turdimov, director of the Cinematography Agency Firdavs Abdukholikov, deputy director of the Agency Shuhrat Rizayev, director Jahongir Akhmedov's film creative team, journalists and bloggers, as well as representatives of the general public attended to it. 

First, the management of the Agency and the creators visited the grave of Bahadir Yalangtosh, located in the Makhdumi Azam complex in Okdarya district. After that, a press conference dedicated to the premiere of the film was held at the Silk Road International University of Tourism and Cultural Heritage. 

At the conference, media representatives and journalists' questions about the film were answered. After the event, the participants were invited to the premiere of the film. 

The premiere was opened by the governor of Samarkand region and the director of the Cinematography Agency. 

The head of the agency emphasized that the public has a special role in creating such films in the future.

"Today is one of the historic days in Uzbek cinema. The first sample of the films in the "Living History" program "Bahodir Yalangtosh" was brought to your attention. This film was shot on the initiative of our honorable President. It can be said with confidence that most of these historical films are directly related to Samarkand. Today, Samarkand, the golden cradle of Eastern culture, is truly becoming one of the major film centers. I also express my deep gratitude to the regional governor Erkinjon Turdimov and the people of Samarkand for their close cooperation," said the Director of the Agency. 

In his speech, the regional governor noted that this is the beginning of a successful path.

"Today is the day to see the results of our work that started with good intentions. Film has a great role in conveying history to our people.  Beginnings are always difficult. 

I'm sure we'll be watching movies of different quality from now on. At this point, I express my immense gratitude to the management of the Cinematography Agency and the creative team of the film for the film," said Erkinjon Turdimov. 

The director of the film, Jahangir Akhmedov, said that the hardships of filming and the role of the people of Samarkand in this are special. Then, the director of the Agency, Firdavs Abdukholikov, presented a letter of thanks to the regional governor, Erkinjon Turdimov, for his sincere cooperation. After that, the film was screened for the general public in the city of Samarkand. The film kept more than 3.5 thousand viewers in great interest for 2 hours and left a warm impression. 

The film tells the story of the life and work of Bahodir Yalangtosh, the creator of the Registan complex, the governor of Samarkand. Amir Yalangtosh was first of all a skilled military commander. He participated in all the military campaigns of the Bukhara Khanate during the two dynasties and won major victories. 

"In films, especially in historical films, I played mostly negative characters. Because in any film, the negative character determines the dynamics, and at the same time, the negative character requires special responsibility and effort from the actor. He is the center of attention of the audience. The image of Abdurrahman Devanbegi is also included among them. At this point, I would like to express my sincere gratitude to the Cinematography Agency, which supports such films", said Tahir Saidov, an honored artist in Uzbekistan. 

After the premiere, the audience expressed warm opinions about the film. Most moviegoers said that they had no information about the historical personality of Bahadir Yalangtosh, and that they got to know the life path of the great general through the film. 

For information, on Thursday, May 30, the grand premiere of the film "Bahodir Yalangtosh" is planned to be held at the Palace of the National Film Art of Uzbekistan in the capital.
