On May 16, President of Uzbekistan Shavkat Mirziyoyev visited the Palace of the National Film Art of Uzbekistan in our capital. The palace was completely renovated in 2021. Large and small halls, summer cinema, conference hall were equipped with modern equipment.
The President of Uzbekistan got acquainted with the new museum of film art, the exhibition of costumes of historical films, the life and work of famous filmmakers.
As part of the visit, the President of Uzbekistan Shavkat Mirziyoyev visited the school of animation named after Timur Bekmambetov.
The creation of a full-length animated film about Khoja Nasriddin is underway here. Timur Bekmambetov and young animators thanked the President of Uzbekistan for the conditions created for creativity and new opportunities.
- Uzbekistan was the first to support our animated film about Khoja Nasriddin, and since then new interests have been expressed in our project from Turkey and Tatarstan. Based on the example of the school in Tashkent, we started similar projects in Almetyevsk and Ankara.
With the support of President Shavkat Mirziyoyev and the Cinematography Agency, we are opening three new schools. So, talented Uzbek children in the regions will have the opportunity to learn a new profession," said Timur Bekmambetov.
Bekmambetov contacted from the set of the new movie "Kindness" with Hollywood stars Chris Pratt and Rebecca Ferguson. Theater and film director Alexander Gamirov manages the school.
