International Scientific-Practical Conference on "Issues of Comparative Study of Folklore Samples" held at Uzbekistan State Institute of Arts and Culture

Renowned specialists and scientists from both our country and abroad, as well as professors, teachers, and doctoral students of the institute participated in this conference.
The plenary session held within the framework of the conference was opened with introductory remarks by the institute's rector, Professor Nodirbek Sayfullayev.
He first touched upon the scientific work currently being carried out at the institute, noting with satisfaction that the number and significance of international conferences have notably expanded this year.
Furthermore, in his speech, he emphasized that the scientific research, expeditions, digitization work, identification of new folklore layers by region, and their introduction into scientific circulation being carried out in the field of folklore studies in Uzbekistan in recent years are noteworthy.
He specifically mentioned that the decrees and resolutions of our esteemed President concerning the preservation of cultural heritage, the scientific study of folklore and traditional art, and their promotion on an international scale have given a significant impetus to scientific research in this direction.
Jabbor Eshonqulov, Director of the A. Navoi State Museum of Literature, Doctor of Philological Sciences, Professor, participated not only with his presentation but also moderated the conference.
At the plenary session of the conference, a number of specialists and scientists delivered their presentations.
These included presentations on: "Game Culture in the Development of Turkic Folk Art and the Synthesis of Kazakh and Uzbek Folklore" by Professor Serali Tleubayev, Doctor of Philosophical Sciences from M. Auezov South Kazakhstan University; "A Phenomenon of Transfer Among Turkic World Literatures: An Evaluation on Literary Text Transfers from Uzbek to Turkish" by Doctor Gökcan Çelik from Kyrgyzstan-Turkey Manas University; "Comparative-Typological Analysis of Kazakh Folklore in the Context of Turkic and World Folk Traditions" by Associate Professor Baljan Tleubayeva, Candidate of Pedagogical Sciences from M. Auezov South Kazakhstan University; "From Idegey to Gurugli: The Consciousness of Heroism in Tatar and Uzbek Epics" by Professor Alsu Yenikeyeva, Candidate of Pedagogical Sciences from Kazan State Institute of Culture; "Comparative Analysis in Evaluating the Art of Bakhshis" by Professor Orazali Tashmatov from Uzbekistan State Institute of Arts and Culture; "The Cultural Meaning and Architectural Heritage of the Falun Hall, Yonghe Temple, Beijing" by Siqi Lin from Jilin International Studies University, China; and "The Foundation and Development of the Folklore Archive" by Barno Mirzayeva, Senior Research Fellow, PhD in Philological Sciences from the Institute of Uzbek Language, Literature and Folklore.
Following this, participants watched a concert program titled "Folklore - The Mirror of the Nation" organized within the event's framework.
During it, national lapars and songs based on folklore performances were performed by the institute's teachers and students.
Furthermore, the conference continued in parallel sections on the topics "Comparative Study of Uzbek Folklore with World Folklore" and "Linguofolkloristics, Language, Literature, and Cultural Issues."
At the end of the plenary session, presenters were awarded certificates and commemorative gifts.
The conference presentations were published as a collection.
