On December 2 of this year, from 4:00 PM to 6:00 PM, the creative team of the Bukhara Regional Musical Drama Theater will be on a tour in Tashkent city. During the tour, the play "Qiyomat Qarz" will be performed on the stage of the Uzbekistan State Drama Theater.
The play "Qiyomat Qarz" is a work that artistically analyzes a person's responsibility before their conscience, the impact of past mistakes on the human psyche, and the complex trials of life. In the play, the main character, Father Sulaymon, is entrusted with two sheep that have grown into a large flock, which he must return to their owner. This debt—not material, but a debt of conscience—and his spiritual torment on the path to repaying it, as well as his process of self-discovery, are depicted with profound psychological skill.
The play encompasses themes such as moral and spiritual relationships in Uzbek society, people's responsibility towards each other, and preserving humanity. Through life events, the author prompts the audience to reflect on goodness, responsibility, and purity of conscience. The play "Qiyomat Qarz," with its impressive style and simple yet profound language, is a work that encourages the audience to engage in deep contemplation.
