Representatives of Turkmenistan have been actively participating in international events organized in Uzbekistan.
On May 5-8, 2023, representatives of Turkmenistan took part in the International Folk Bakhshi Art Festival held in Gulistan city and won prize places.
On April 25-30, 2024, representatives of Turkmenistan participated in the "Lazgi" International Dance Festival organized in Khiva city.
On May 17-18, 2024, a delegation led by First Deputy Minister of Culture A. Tadzhibanov participated in the events dedicated to the 300th anniversary of the birth of Makhtumkuli Firaqi, held in Ashgabat, Turkmenistan.
On June 26-28, 2024, representatives of Turkmenistan took part in the "Art of Maqom" International Conference held in Zomin district.
On August 26-30, 2024, representatives of Turkmenistan participated in the "Melodies of the East" festivals in Samarkand, and the "Turkmenistan National Music" ensemble won first place.
As a major cultural project, it is noteworthy that the "Days of Turkmen Culture" were organized in Tashkent and Bukhara cities from October 28 to November 1, 2023. The events included concert programs, exhibitions, and master classes.
On November 13-15, 2024, representatives of Uzbekistan participated in the 4th International Film Festival "Gorkut Ata" of Turkic World Countries held in Ashgabat, Turkmenistan.
On November 16, 2024, a delegation led by Minister of Culture O. Nazarbekov participated in the meeting of Culture Ministers of TURKSOY member states held in Ashgabat.
On November 16, 2024, a solemn literary and educational memorial evening dedicated to the 300th anniversary of the birth of Makhtumkuli Firaqi was held in Tashkent city.
On November 17-20, 2024, "Days of Uzbek Culture and Cinema" were held in Ashgabat and Turkmenabat cities. As part of the events, a creative meeting of Uzbek and Turkmen writers and poets on the theme "Makhtumkuli Firaqi and his contribution to the development of world literature" took place.
On December 21, 2024, the presentation of the film "Makhtumkuli Firaqi" was held at the National Cinema Palace in Tashkent.
On January 15, 2025, a series of cultural events dedicated to celebrating the 300th anniversary of the birth of Makhtumkuli Firaqi were held in New York City in cooperation with the TURKSOY organization and the Ministries of Culture of Uzbekistan and Turkmenistan. Within the framework of the event, the premiere of the film "Makhtumkuli Firaqi," shot in cooperation with Uzbek and Turkmen creators, was shown.
