As you know, these days the President of Kazakhstan, Kassym-Jomart Tokayev, is in our country on a state visit.
Today, on November 15, the Rector of the Kazakh National University of Arts (named after Kulyash Baiseitova), Professor Galim Akhmetyarov, visited the Uzbek State Institute of Arts and Culture. The guest was warmly welcomed by the Rector of the Institute, Professor Nodirbek Sayfullayev.
During the meeting, the heads of the two higher education institutions exchanged views on the current state and prospective directions of mutual cooperation.
At the end of the meeting, the parties signed a Memorandum of Cooperation aimed at further strengthening their mutual partnership.
During the practical part of the visit, G. Akhmetyarov closely familiarized himself with the conditions created at the institute and the educational processes.
This included observing:

A scene from the play "People of War" by 2nd year students of "Dramatic Theatre Directing" (Artistic Supervisor: Associate Professor Shoira Hamidova).
While attentively observing each process, G. Akhmetyarov highly praised the artistic supervisors and the performing skills of the students. He also emphasized that the creative cooperation between the two universities will contribute to the development of the arts.
