The first founding meeting of the founders of the “Uzbekistan–Mongolia Friendship Society” was held at the Committee. In addition to committee specialists, officials from the Committee on Interethnic Relations and Work with Compatriots Abroad under the Cabinet of Ministers also took part in the meeting.
At the event, the Chairman of the Committee, Bahrom Norqobilov, delivered a speech outlining the main goals and objectives of the friendship society, the establishment of broad relations in the fields of economy, science, and education, as well as the principles and mechanisms of bilateral cooperation in this regard.
It should be noted that in recent years, effective cooperation between Uzbekistan and Mongolia has been established in trade, economy, investment, transport, agriculture, education, and many other areas, achieving significant results.
For reference, as of today, there are 42 friendship societies operating in our country.
