A meeting was held between representatives of the State Committee for Veterinary and Livestock Development, the "Parrandasanoat" Association, and the Chinese company "XINGUANG AGRICULTURE AND ANIMAL HUSBANDRY Co. LTD".
During the meeting, the parties focused on the development of poultry breeding in Uzbekistan, increasing production volumes, and establishing international cooperation in this field.
Currently, the People’s Republic of China and Uzbekistan continue to strengthen their friendly relations, leading to the implementation of numerous events and successful projects.
The economic growth and cooperation between the two countries have reached a new level, and it is no secret that the number of multi-sector joint projects has significantly increased in recent years.
Uzbekistan is considered an attractive country for large-scale investments from China, while China represents a vast market and a great opportunity for Uzbekistan to expand its product exports.
During the meeting, discussions were held on implementing a first-order parent stock breeding farm for meat-oriented poultry in Uzbekistan to increase poultry meat production volumes and strengthen the breeding base.
On the global market, approximately 85% of the parent stock for meat-oriented poultry belongs to "Aviagen Group", while 15% is controlled by the genetic company "Sobb Vantress".
Currently, Uzbekistan does not have a first-order parent stock for meat-oriented poultry.
For this reason, Uzbekistan imports second-order parent stock from breeding enterprises of "Aviagen Group" and "Sobb Vantress" in Hungary, the Netherlands, Germany, and other countries.
Thus, a collaboration with a Chinese company is planned to breed the Guangming 2 cross in Uzbekistan, aiming to completely eliminate the import of second-order parent stock and establish direct strategic partnerships with genetic companies.
As a result, a system will be developed for exporting breeding materials to poultry enterprises in Central Asian countries and Afghanistan. Additionally, by reducing the import of live poultry and hatching eggs, the interregional spread of infectious poultry diseases will be prevented.
The production of second-order parent stock for meat-oriented poultry will be established in Uzbekistan, and poultry meat production volumes will increase.
Most importantly, industrial production capacities will be expanded, and starting from 2025, poultry meat imports will be completely reduced. Instead, opportunities will be created to export poultry meat to foreign markets, including China. At the same time, the culture of poultry farming will improve, and modern technologies will be introduced into the industry.
